Have you been wanting to get into logistics but you keep hearing that the industry is going down? Are you a vet in the industry and witnessed dramatic changes in rates? Let’s talk about it!

Hustlers Mentality
Often times we see people jump into logistics with no business plan, first mistake! How can we take you serious when you don’t yourself. For the newbies out there listen up. Once you file your Authority you have 21 days to get your Insurance and BOC-3 on file for activation. Be advised: wait About 2-3 days before this waiting period runs out and then obtain insurance. The last thing you want is to just have come out of pocket thousands for your insurance down payment and then have to turn around and make your monthly payment back to back with a fresh MC. For my vets sit down and truly calculate your expenses see what it costs to move your truck and for your organization to see profit. Stick to that! No that doesn’t mean blame every broker and consume yourself with negativity. It means HUSTLE! If your self dispatching or have a dispatcher learn how to route plan and combine partials. People are afraid of a little hard work when they get use to things coming easy! Things change, the world changes, freight changes! Adapt to your surroundings always be looking for a solution to the problem. While your out and about start networking, cold calling shippers, acquiring a broker base to lean on and, STOP being solely dependent on load boards. These few steps here will change the game for any of you! Sick of dealing with money hungry brokers? Become one and cut out the middle man then tell me there’s no money in logistics.
Signed: Just my opinion don’t take it personal...
